5th Day: Washington DC – New York.

In the morning you will start with a visit to the Memorial dedicated to Thomas Jefferson, the area is known as the Tidal Basin, if you have the good fortune to do this tour during the spring you will be enchanted by cherry trees that surrounds it. This time of year Washington has a popular National Cherry Blossom Festival, next you will visit the famous Arlington National Cemetery to assist at the changing of the guards and visit the Kennedy family gravesite. You will proceed towards to see Capitol Hill, the White House, the Mall, where all major museums are located, and where you will stop for a visit to the Air and Space Museum, you will then proceed towards the national monuments park and you will visit some of the most important memorials including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, Martin Luther King, and Korean War Memorial and Vietnam Memorial. Late afternoon departure to New York for an early evening arrival.
