Fifth Avenue begins in Washington Square Park and goes through
the heart of Midtown Manhattan, along Central Park up to up to
the Harlem River and 142nd street.
It is one of the most important shopping streets of Manhattan
and the entire world. You can view some of the most interesting
sights in New York when walking along Fifth Avenue, such as the
Empire State Building, the New York Public Library, Rockefeller
Center, Central Park and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. Several
museums are located along the stretch of Fifth Avenue along Central
Park, which has been nicknamed Museum Mile, and includes the Metropolitan
Museum of Art and the Guggenheim.
