This museum tripartite institution; beside being a museum , is also an artists’ association ad a school. The permanent collection showcases paintings, sculputures, graphic art and architectural designs. A separate section holds a collection of treasures from the Renaissance.

The Academy houses the largest American art collection from the 19th and 20th centuries. The collection is made up of over 5000 works in almost every artistic style of the past two centuries, and incudes portraiture from the Federal period m the naturalistic landscapes of the Hudson River School to the studies of light of American Impressionism.

The museum’s permanent collection with more than 5000 works covering three centuries of figurative arts , accounts the diversity of art periods, national experience, individual creativity and community values.
Inside the museum you will find paintings, sculpures , textiles ( tapestries, etc.)

American pop art is extraordinary thanks to the cultural clues it holds, even when the works are removed from the contest of their creation.
