In the morning you will leave New York and head south to reach Philadelphia. Upon arrival you will embark on a panoramic tour that includes: Benjamin Franklyn Parkway and Elfert Alley, the oldest inhabited street in America, and much more. You will arrive at the famous and historic Constitution Square where you will visit some of the oldest monuments in America including Constitution Hall and the famous Liberty Bell. Leaving Philadelphia you will pass by the famous “Rocky Steps”, the 72 stone steps before the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
You will proceed towards Lancaster County home of the Amish people. You will start with a ride on an authentic Amish Buggy (the traditional Amish carriage) through the Amish farm country, and learn how this community still leaves without the use of modern technology such as electricity, running water, telephone service or general appliances. After the ride you will visit the characteristic Amish marketplace where you can find extraordinary handmade arts crafts and typical products. Late afternoon departure to New York for an early evening arrival.
