1st Day: New York – Philadelphia – Lancaster Country - Washington DC
Onboard a luxury motor-coach and with the help of a professional tour guide that will be with you throughout the tour, you will leave New York in the early morning and head south passing the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania to reach Philadelphia. Upon arrival, you will embark on a panoramic tour that includes: Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Elfert Alley, the oldest inhabited street in America, and much more. You will arrive at the famous and historic Constitution Square where you will visit some of the oldest monuments in America including Constitution Hall and the famous Liberty Bell. Leaving Philadelphia you will pass by the famous “Rocky Steps”, the 72 stone steps before the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You will leave Philadelphia and proceed towards Lancaster County home of the Amish people. You will start with a ride on an authentic Amish Buggy (the traditional Amish carriage) through the Amish farm country, and learn how this community still leaves without the use of modern technology such as electricity, running water, telephone service or general appliances. After the ride, you will visit the characteristic Amish marketplace where you can find extraordinary handmade arts crafts and typical products. In the late afternoon, we start to get to Washington DC.

2nd Day: Washington DC – New York
In the morning you will start with a visit to the Memorial dedicated to Thomas Jefferson, the area is known as the Tidal Basin, if you have the good fortune to do this tour during the spring you will be enchanted by cherry trees that surrounds it. Next we will visit the famous Arlington National Cemetery to assist at the changing of the guards and visit the Kennedy family gravesite.
The tour will continue to see Capitol Hill, the White House, the Mall, where all major museums are located, and where you will stop for a visit to the Air and Space Museum, you will then proceed towards the national monuments park and you will visit some of the most important memorials including the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, Martin Luther King and Korean War Memorial, and Vietnam Memorial. Late afternoon departure to New York for an early evening arrival.

This tour conveniently departs from Midtown West in Manhattan by the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street. You can easily reach the departure point by walking or utilizing public transportation. The closest Subway Stop is "42nd Street - Times Square" (1, 2, 3 red line + 7 purple line + A, C, E blue line + N, Q , R & W yellow line and S shuttle from/to Grand Central.) The departure point is within walking distance from/to many hotels located around the Theater District, Midtown West and Hudson Yards. If you opt for a car service (i.e. Yellow Cab, Uber, Lyft etc.) the complete address is – 330 W 42nd Street New York, New York 10036.
Please note that once you have arrived by Port Authority, you will have to head to the south-side of 42nd Street (outside the bus terminal) between 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue towards the middle of the block. The buses will be lined up on the south-side of 42nd street.
