Niagara Falls are among some of the favorite destinations for visitors of New York City that want to explore the North-East area. About 400 miles (650 km) from NYC, Niagara Falls will never disappoint you no matter the season, in the warmer months when the power of the cascading water gives you a fresh breeze, and in winter when thanks to the low temperatures, the falls may become frozen and the landscape becomes a sculpture of ice difficult to imagine even for the most imaginative of the designers. If in the summer it is a party of sketches and rainbows, in winter everything seems to be motionless, remembering a crystal castle.
They are located on the border between the United States and Canada and they have 3 main falls: the largest - the Horseshoe Falls - found in Canada, while in America we find the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. During your visit, you will have several activities that will remind you of this experience: so be ready for photos and videos!
What not to miss at Niagara Falls
- The sunset time will make you fall in love .... You will enjoy splendid views and many colors and reflections right on the Falls’ water.
- Admire the Canadian side with the famous Horseshoe - This is the highest point of the Horseshoe Falls.
- Embark on the Cruise Maid of the Mist - In the season from April to October, the mini cruise takes you right under the Falls. Exciting!
- Walk inside the Panoramic Tunnel - During the winter season to reach the Falls and almost touch them!
- Do not miss the evening lighting of the Waterfalls and check if during your visit they will be shooting Fireworks. Each evening the Waterfalls are lit up in different colors and during Summertime, there are the Fireworks, see the: Lighting and Fireworks calender.
