Broadway Shows Closing Soon
We have just a couple of more months to be able to attend one of the longest-running Broadway Musicals, after 35 years and 13,925 performances the closing of the musical "Phantom of the Opera" has been confirmed.
The Phantom of the opera, together with other musicals will close between October and February 2023, let's see which ones and until when they can still be booked:
- Come From Away – closing October 2, 2022
- The Kite Runner – closing October 30, 2022
- The Music Man – closing January 1, 2023
- Into the Woods – closing January 8, 2023
- The Phantom of the Opera – closing February 18, 2023
We say goodbye to The Phantom of the Opera, but we are ready to welcome the new ones for upcoming 2022-2023 season:
- Cost of Living – Opening October 3.
- Leopoldstadt – Opening October 2.
- 1776 – Opening October 6.
- Death of a Salesman – Opening October 9.
- The Piano Lesson – Opening October 13.
- Topdog/Underdog – Opening October 20.
- Almost Famous – Opening November 3.
- Kimberly Akimbo – Opening November 10.
- KPOP – Opening November 20.
- Take Me Out – performances begin October 27.
- & Juliet – Opening November 17.
- Some Like It Hot – Opening December 11.
- A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical – Opening December 4.
- Ain’t No Mo’ – Opening December 1.
Great expectations for Camelot 2023
The world of Lerner and Loewe's Camelot returns to the Lincoln Center Theater with a new version of the tale. Based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning writer Aaron Sorkin, directed by Bartlett Sher, stages a reimagined version for the 21st century.
The shows will begin on March 9, 2023 with the official opening scheduled for April 13, 2023 at Lincoln Center's Theater-Vivian Beaumont. The show will remain on sale until June 25, 2023.
