Rooftop Views and Cheese Fondue in New York City
Who said Extra Cheese Fondue??? Because we are all-in, especially if it's not your average fondue. Yes, it does come with the traditional croutons & bread ... but you will have a huge board topped with lots of different things to dip including chorizo, baked fingerling potatoes, persimmons, peppers, Brussels sprout & more! If you love Cheese and the idea of sharing a huge Fondue with friends, you must try this ONE at the Sandbar Rooftop. They recently added it to their Winter Menu.
In addition to the Cheese Fondue, the Sandbar's house mixologist crafted some special cocktails with touches of spices, apple cider and more wintery notes, you should try the Breakwater (smoky) & the Schooner (with apple cider) as pictured in the photos below - they were are favorites.
BONUS: If you love to see the Empire State Building changing colors during the Holiday Season, this would be a perfect spot for drinks and bites.

Sandbar rooftop is located in NoMad/Flatiron District on 26th Street between 7th and 6th Ave. They recreated a perfect Hamptons beach look with swings & hanging lounges, light colors in the hues of beige, white and blue. The SATC walking tour is fabulous! Our tour guide was amazing. Friendly, helpful, accommodating and so knowledgeable about the city. It was essentially 2 tours in 1.
